About National Institute of Secondary Steel Technology

The National Institute of Secondary Steel Technology (NISST) was established on 18th August 1987 to meet the need for Human Resource Development and Technology up-gradation in the secondary steel sector comprising mainly the steel melting units with EAF or IF,and the re-rolling units.
