NIT Calicut Invites Application for JRF Recruitment 2022

An Online Interview for the engagement of a Junior Research Fellow (on contract basis) for a Research Project in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, NIT Calicut is scheduled to be held on 28.02.2022.

1. Post Name: Junior Research Fellow

2. Duration of Engagement: One year (on contract basis) and extendable based on the performance of the candidate and availability of the project fund.

3. Name of the Sponsoring Agency: Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Govt. of India.

4. Name of Project: “A Prototype for Drone-based Intelligent Coconut Harvester: An Application to Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT)”

5. Qualifications:  B.Tech/ M.Tech or equivalent degree in Computer Science and Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering selected through a process described through any of the following:

a. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.

b. The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.

6. Desirable Experience: Good programming skills and relevant experience

7. Consolidated monthly pay: Rs. 31,000/- (Rupees thirty one thousand only) per month (consolidated)
