Skills / Eligibility
An Online Interview for the engagement of a Junior Research Fellow (on contract basis) for a Research Project in the Department Electronics & Communication Engineering, NIT Calicut is scheduled to be held on 10.03.2022. 1. Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow 2. Duration of Appointment : Six months (on contract basis) and may be extended on the basis of performance of the candidate and availability of the project fund. 3. Name of Project : DST-INSPIRE Faculty Scheme under INSPIRE Program to NITC 4. Qualification : M. Tech in Electronics and Communication/ Signal Processing or in closely related areas. OR BE/B.Tech (Electronics and Communication) with first class (marks not below 60% or with CGPA not below 6.5). CSIR-UGC-NET/GATE score. 5. Desirable Qualification : M. Tech in Telecommunication/Communication and Networks or Signal Processing. 6. Desirable Skills : MATLAB coding. Background in linear algebra and information theory and coding 7. Consolidated monthly Fellowship : Rs. 31,000/- (Rupees thirty one thousand only) per month (consolidated) + 16% HRA ( as per norms)

Selection Will be Based either Written Exam/Interview
How to Apply:
1. Candidates have to send an application form in the prescribed format (annexed) by e-mail to [email protected] with the subject “Application for JRF: DST/INSPIRE-NSK”. The attested copy of all the relevant certificates/document proofs scanned and merged as a single PDF file also has to be sent along with the application form. The interview will be conducted online, the date of which will be informed to the selected candidates through their e-mail. The applicant will be responsible for the authenticity of the information, other documents, and photographs submitted.
2. The Institute reserves the right to relax qualification and experience for candidates with exceptional credentials.
3. Applicants who are employed in government or any other organizations are required to send a “No Objection Certificate” from the employer if selected for the interview.
4. Last date to receive the submission of online application: 06.03.2022 at 4.00 pm
