National Institute of Technology Calicut Invites Application for Research Fellow Recruitment 2022

An Online Interview for the engagement of a Junior Research Fellow (on contract basis) for a Research Project in the Department of Chemical Engineering, NIT Calicut is scheduled to be held on 18.05.2022.

1. Position: Junior Research Fellow

2. Qualifications: M.E/M.Tech in chemical Engineering with minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA selected through a process described through any of the following: a) Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Test like GATE. b) The selection process through National Level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DRDO, MHRD, IISc, IIT, IISER etc

3. Desirable Experience: A minimum of one-year experience in relevant field is desirable. The knowledge of CFD simulation will be additional.

4. Consolidated monthly compensation/Fellowship : Rs. 31,000/- (Rupees Thirty-one thousand only) per month (consolidated)

5. Duration of Engagement: Four months (on a contract basis)

6. Name of Project: “Process Intensification of Post-Combustion CO2 capture using Rotating Packed bed Reactor Concept

7. Name of the Sponsoring Agency: DST-SERB, India.
