OPSC AAE Eligibility 2026 – Educational Qualification

Essential: Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture Engineering from a recognized University/Institution. No other degree is accepted.

Mandatory Odia Knowledge: Candidates must be able to read, write, and speak Odia. Proof can be any of:

• Passed Middle School with Odia as a language subject; OR
• Passed Matriculation with Odia as medium of examination (non-language subject); OR
• Passed Odia as language subject in Class VII from a recognized school; OR
• Passed Odia test at Middle English School Standard by School & Mass Education Dept., Odisha.

Other Conditions: Indian citizen, sound health, not more than one living spouse (unless exempted), serving govt employees need NOC, not debarred by any PSC/UPSC.

OPSC AAE Age Limit & Relaxation

Age Relaxation: SEBC/SC/ST/Women/Ex-Servicemen: 5 years; PwD (40%+ disability): 10 years; PwD + SC/ST/SEBC: cumulative 15 years. Only one relaxation benefit.

Note: Appointees on or after 1 Jan 2005 are covered under NPS (National Pension System).

OPSC AAE Application Fee 2026

Fee refunded only to candidates who appear in both papers of the written exam. Incomplete applications without fee (unless exempted) will be rejected.

OPSC AAE Selection Process 2026

Stage 1: Written Examination (200 marks)

Both papers are Objective Type (MCQ) with OMR evaluation. Negative marking: 0.25 marks deducted per wrong answer.

Stage 2: Personality Test (Interview) – 25 marks

Shortlisted candidates in ratio 1:2 (category-wise) will be called for interview. Final merit based on total marks (225).

1. Visit the official website: opsc.gov.in.
2. Read the full advertisement (Advt. 08/2026-27) carefully.
3. Register and fill the online application form with accurate details.
4. Upload scanned passport-size photo (within 6 months), signature, and left-hand thumb impression.
5. Pay the fee (if applicable) via online mode.
6. Upload all required documents in original scanned form via e-Chayan portal.
7. Submit the form and note the Permanent Public Service Account Number (PPSAN).
8. Take a printout of the final application form, sign it, and keep it for future reference.
9. Download the admit card (Admission Certificate) from the OPSC website before the exam.

Important: Applications through any other mode will be rejected. Do not attach original certificates; only self-attested copies are required at verification.

• Reservation for SC/ST/SEBC only for Odisha domicile.
• Women candidates must submit caste certificate showing "daughter of".
• OBC certificate not accepted in lieu of SEBC.
