Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility for All Posts (Common Requirements)
- Essential Qualification: Postgraduate Degree in Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics + M.Ed. + Ph.D. in Education. First Class (6.5 CGPA or 60% aggregate) from Bachelor's degree onwards.
- Age Limit: Maximum 50 years as on opening date of the application portal.
- Other Conditions: Candidates must hold analogous posts on a regular basis. Deputation period is initially 1 year, extendable up to 3 years.
Post-Wise Specific Eligibility (Annexure I)
Eligibility for Assistant Professor Grade I (Level-12)
- Essential: Ph.D. with consistently good academic record.
- Experience: 03 years after Ph.D. or 06 years total teaching and research experience in reputed academic Institute / R&D labs / relevant industry.
- Credit Points: 20 points cumulative essential.
Eligibility for Associate Professor (Level-13A2)
- Essential: Ph.D. with consistently good academic record.
- Experience: 06 years after Ph.D. (min 03 years at Assistant Professor Level-12) OR 09 years total working experience (min 03 years after Ph.D., including 03 years at Assistant Professor Level-12).
- Credit Points: 50 points cumulative essential.
Eligibility for Professor (Level-14A)
- Essential: Ph.D. with consistently good academic record.
- Experience: 10 years after Ph.D. OR 13 years total working experience (07 years after Ph.D.). Must include at least 03 years at Associate Professor Level-13A2 or equivalent.
- Credit Points: 80 points cumulative essential.
