Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) OR Postgraduate Degree in Law (LLM) from a reputed University/Institute recognized by the Bar Council of India.
• Marks: Minimum 60% marks or a CGPA of 6.5 (on a 10-point scale) in the qualifying examination.
• Registration: Must be registered as an Advocate with the Bar Council of India under the Advocates Act, 1961.

Experience Required

• LLB Holders: Minimum 3 years of experience after completing the degree.
• LLM Holders: Minimum 2 years of experience after completing the degree.
• Domain Experience: Experience must include handling civil/criminal litigation, arbitration, RTI applications, service matters, and drafting legal documents.
• Preference: Candidates with experience in legal matters related to academic institutions or Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) filings are preferred.

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: Less than 40 years.
• Cut-off Date: Age is calculated as of the last date of application (17-02-2026).
• Relaxation: Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/ESM/PwBD candidates.

Mandatory Requirements

• Candidates must be citizens of India.
• Must possess the Bar Council of India registration certificate.

Selection Process

The selection will be conducted by a committee constituted by the Institute. The stages are:

1. Initial Screening: Based on educational qualifications, experience, and submitted documents.
2. Selection Committee Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview (likely online/offline mode to be decided by the institute).
3. Skill Test: The committee may conduct a skill test or trade test if deemed necessary.
4. Document Verification: Original certificates must be produced during the selection process.
