Applications are invited from eligible Indian Nationals for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a time bound DST-SERB sponsored project undertaken in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of the Institute. The details are as follows. Advertisement No: NITK/CSE/SERB-2021-631/JRF 1. Position: JRF - 01 2. Project Title: Logical Correctness for Batteryless Internet of Things 3. Project Duration: 02 Years 4. Salary/Fellowship: Rs. 31,000 + 16% HRA 5. Department: Computer Science and Engineering 6. Qualification and Experience: B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech in CSE/IT/ECE or in related disciplines with consistently good academic record. Applicants must be GATE/NET qualified. The candidate should have in-depth knowledge in Internet of Things (IoT) and Formal Verification. Any experience in IoT based projects is a bonus. 7. More Information: Selected candidate having B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech degree is encouraged to register for M.Tech (Research) or Ph.D. Programme, respectively at the institute provided the candidate completes the academic and administrative requirements.

National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal is located in Mangalore City, Karnataka State, India. The Institute was established as Karnataka Regional Engineering College (KREC) in 1960, and upgraded as National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK) in 2002. Mangalore is the headquarters of the coastal district of Dakshina Kannada, and boasts an important centre of education, business and trade in the state. Sri. U. Srinivasa Mallya, a visionary and a philanthropist, contributed immensely to the development of the coastal region of Karnataka, and his effort towards establishment of KREC (now NITK) is the most significant one. In recognition of his role as the founder and architect of the institute, the campus premises is named after him as Srinivasnagar.
