This recruitment is for a CSR-funded research project titled "Implementation of a One-Ton Biogas Plant in Paradeep, Odisha – Phase II - Biogas Purification and Bottling."

This is an excellent opportunity for M.Tech graduates in engineering fields to engage in high-impact research focused on waste recycling and sustainable energy. The selected candidate will work under the mentorship of faculty at NITK Surathkal, contributing to Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and technical implementation of biogas systems. This is a Direct Recruitment process based on a Written Test and Technical Interview.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

• Essential: M.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience: 0-2 years of experience in biogas technology, Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), Risk assessment, project coordination, or sustainability analysis of waste-to-energy systems.

2. Age Limit

There is no specific age limit mentioned in the notification. However, candidates must be Indian citizens and generally suitable for a research role.

3. Mandatory Requirements

• Must be an Indian Citizen.
• The candidate must not be receiving any other fellowship from Government or Non-Governmental sources during the tenure.
• Must be willing to work at NITK Surathkal with potential field visits to Paradeep, Odisha.

Selection Process

The selection process involves the following stages:
