1. Position : Social Media Specialist
2. Desired Candidate Profile :
a) Education preferably a graduate in UI Design
b) Graduates or Post Graduates in other streams with hands on Proven working experience in social media content creation
c) Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
d) Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
e) Fluency in English and/ or Telugu
3. Roles and Responsibilities
a) Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
b) Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
c) Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content
d) Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community
e) Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules
f) Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
g) Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales etc) to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions

The Government of India (GoI), under the Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM), had organized a national competition for the establishment of National Institutes for Urban Development/Management across the country. After consideration of proposals from various States, the GoI approved the establishment of the National Institute for Urban Management (NIUM) in Hyderabad and committed support under national programs.
