Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess the following qualifications relevant to the specific post:

• AGM (Mining) (M-7):
  • Degree in Mining Engineering with 1st class Mines Manager Certificate (Coal).
  • Experience: Minimum 12 years work experience in Coal Mining after degree; 8 years experience after Mines Manager Certificate.
• Manager (Mechanical) (M-5):
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mining Machinery.
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years post-qualification work experience in repair and maintenance of Heavy Earth Moving Machinery (HEMM) in large open cast mines.
• Manager (Mining) (Safety Officer):
  • Degree in Mining Engineering with 1st class Mines Manager Certificate (Coal).
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years work experience in Coal Mining (3 years after Mines Manager Certificate). Experience as Safety Officer is desirable.
• Manager (Mining) (Blasting Officer):
  • Degree in Mining Engineering with 1st class Mines Manager Certificate (Coal).
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years work experience in Coal Mining (3 years after Mines Manager Certificate). 2 years experience as Blasting Officer desirable.
• Manager (Mining) (Production Manager):
  • Degree in Mining Engineering with 1st class Mines Manager Certificate (Coal).
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years work experience in Coal Mining (3 years after Mines Manager Certificate).
• Jr. Manager (Survey) (M-2):
  • 3 years Diploma in Mining or Mining & Mines Survey with Mines Surveyors Competency Certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years working experience in Coal Mines Surveying in open cast Coal Mines after obtaining the Competency Certificate.
