Law Officer and Various Posts

Educational Qualification:
Chief Legal Advisor:
(i) Degree in law from a recognized university or equivalent;
(ii) 15 years’ experience of legal matters.

Law Officer:
(i) Degree in law from a recognized University or equivalent.
(ii) 10 years’ experience of legal works.

Additional Law Officer:
(i) Degree in Law from recognized university or equivalent.
(ii) 5 years’ experience of legal work in Govt./Public Sector Undertaking / Local Bodies. The departmental officers in the feeder category who are in the direct line of promotional shall not be eligible for consideration for appoint on deputation. Similarly, deputationists shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion.

Deputy Law Officer:
(i) Degree in law from a recognized University or equivalent;
(ii) 3 years’ experience of Legal Work in a Govt. Deptt./ Local Bodies/ Semi Govt.

Pay Scale:
INR
47600-218200/- Per Month

Age Limit: Maximum 56 Years.
