Non Engineering Graduate Apprentices:- • A Degree in Non Engineering (Full time) granted by a Statutory University in relevant discipline. • A Degree in Non Engineering (Full time) granted by an Institution empowered to grant such degree by an Act of Parliament in relevant discipline. • Non Engineering Graduate examination of Professional bodies (Full time) recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to above

Neyveli Lignite Corporation (NLC) is a government-owned lignite mining and power generation company based in Neyveli, Tamil Nadu, India. It was founded in 1956 and is considered to be one of the largest mining and power generation companies in India.
NLC operates three opencast lignite mines, two thermal power stations, and a joint venture power plant. The company has a total installed power generation capacity of 4,731 MW, of which 2,740 MW is generated from lignite-based thermal power plants.
Apart from lignite mining and power generation, NLC also operates renewable energy projects, such as a 140 MW solar power plant in Tamil Nadu and a 51 MW wind power project in Rajasthan.
