Educational Qualification:
Professor: Post Graduate degree in Homoeopathy recognized by the Central Council of Homoeopathy with seven years teaching experience in the concerned subject out of which three years experience should be in cadre of Associate Professor/Reader in any of the recognized Homoeopathic Medical College in India. The PG qualification shall be the one included in Second Scheduled of Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973 Valid Registration with State Board/Council of Homoeopathy.
Associate Professor: Post Graduate degree in Homoeopathy recognized by the Central Council of Homoeopathy with four years teaching experience in the concerned subject. The PG qualification shall be the one included in Second Scheduled of Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973 Valid Registration with State Board/Council of Homoeopathy.
Consultant:
i) Post Graduate degree in Psychiatry or equivalent qualification recognized by the Medical Council of India.
ii) Two Years' experience in a Hospital/Health Centre/Clinic.

The National Homoeopathy Research Institute in Mental Health (NHRIMH), formerly known as Central Research Institute for Homoeopathy, Kottayam; an Institute under Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy(CCRH), Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India has been providing quality services to patients for the past 46 years and conducting clinical research especially in the field of psychiatry.
