Educational Qualification: M.Sc

The Complex Systems Programme invites applications from eligible candidates for engagement in the following project position in the SERB, DST funded 3 year project `Dynamics of complex systems: effect of the environment on living systems’ under Prof. Janaki Balakrishnan, School of Natural Sciences & Engineering, National Institute of Advanced Studies, Indian Institute of Science Campus, Bangalore – 560012.

1. Title of Position: Junior Research Fellow

2. Qualifications & Experience Required:

Candidates should have qualified in the national level competitive written test conducted jointly by CSIR & UGC (National Eligibility Test, NET including lecturership) having M.Sc. in Physics or related areas. Other exceptional candidates and JEST/GATE, etc., qualified candidates are also encouraged to apply.

3. Requirement: Good analytical skills & computational skills especially in C or C++, MATLAB

4. Desirable: The applicant should have working familiarity with nonlinear dynamics.

5. Remuneration: Rs. 31,000/- + HRA @ 24% totalling to Rs. 38,440/- per month.
