Eligibility Criteria and Educational Qualification

Controller of Finance and Accounts – 1 Post (Deputation)

• Essential Qualification: Master's degree in Commerce / Financial Management from a recognized University/Institution, or Chartered Accountancy (C.A.) or equivalent.
• Essential Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in a Government / Educational / Research Institution, including knowledge of Central Government / Union Territory Rules on Finance and Accounts.
• Desirable Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in an Educational Institution or Autonomous Body funded by the Government of India in an analogous post.
  • Having passed the Departmental Accounts examination.
  • Membership of the Organized Accounts Cadre of the Government of India or State Government.
• Conditions for Deputation: The candidate must be an officer under the Central / State / UT Government, University, Statutory or Autonomous Body, or a Research & Development organization, holding an analogous post or having at least two years of service in the post in the Grade Pay Rs. 6,600/-.
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 56 years on deputation basis, as on the closing date of the application (20.11.2026). Age relaxation for other categories is as per DoPT OM No. 15012/2/2010-Estt (D) dated 27.03.2012.
• Recognition of Qualification: All educational qualifications must be acquired from a university/institution recognized/approved by UGC/AICTE or established by the Central/State Government.

Selection Process and Screening Clause

Selection for the post of Controller of Finance and Accounts on deputation will be made through the following stages:

1. Scrutiny of Applications: All applications received by the prescribed last date (20.11.2026) through proper channel will be scrutinized for eligibility in terms of educational qualification, experience, and age criteria.
2. Assessment by Selection Committee: Eligible candidates will be assessed by a Selection Committee constituted by the Institute, based on their credentials, experience, and suitability for the post.
3. Screening Interview / Interaction: Candidates shortlisted may be called for a personal interaction or interview at a date and venue to be notified by NID MP. The shortlist will be prepared considering candidates' performance in the screening process, subject to availability of suitable candidates.
4. Document Verification: Selected candidates will be required to produce original documents for verification at the time of reporting for duty.

Important Notes:

• Applications not forwarded through the proper channel will not be considered.
• Applications received after the prescribed closing date of 20.11.2026 will not be entertained.
• The deputation period will be initially up to 22.09.2027. Candidates engaged on deputation shall not be conferred any right to claim absorption in the regular establishment of NID MP.
• Candidates already engaged on deputation against any earlier advertisement by NID MP need not re-apply.
• The Institute reserves the right to modify or cancel the recruitment process at any stage.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for further steps; no travel expenses or TA/DA will be provided for the selection process.

The duly completed application form, along with self-attested copies of all required documents, must be sent in a sealed envelope clearly superscribed as "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF CONTROLLER OF FINANCE AND ACCOUNTS – ON DEPUTATION BASIS" by Registered Post / Speed Post only to:

• Original Matriculation (10th) Certificate / Secondary School Certificate as proof of date of birth
• All self-attested copies of educational qualification certificates (Master's Degree in Commerce / Financial Management or C.A.)
• Experience certificates on official letterhead from the employer, stating post held, period of service, and grade pay
• Consolidated Salary / Pay Slip certificate showing pay in Grade Pay Rs. 6,600/- or higher
• Vigilance Clearance Certificate from the forwarding authority
• No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the current employer for deputation
• Two recent passport-size photographs pasted on the application form
• Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID / PAN Card)
• Category / Caste Certificate in Central Government prescribed format (if applicable for age relaxation)
