Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Assistant Professor (Biotechnology)

• Essential: Ph.D. in Biotechnology/Bioscience & Bioengineering/Life Sciences/Biomedical Sciences with First class or equivalent grade at the preceding degree (M.Pharm/MS/MTech/M.Sc.) in relevant field with a very good academic record throughout and at least 5 years of Teaching/Research/Industrial experience with published works of high quality.
• Desirable: Expertise in characterization of biologicals/biosimilars, vaccines, bioprocess engineering, gene therapy, cell-based therapy. Demonstrated experience in industrial research in biopharma, guidance of Masters' students, teaching, sponsored/EMR projects, publications in SCI journals.

Eligibility for Assistant Professor (Medical Devices)

• Essential: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree (M.Sc/M.Pharm/M.S.Pharm/B.Tech/M.Tech) in Bioengineering/Biomedical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Electronics or relevant branch with a very good academic record throughout and at least 5 years of Teaching/Research/Industrial experience excluding Ph.D. period with published works of high quality.
• Desirable: Experience in Biomedical Imaging, AI in healthcare, Biomedical signal processing. Expertise in developing and testing Biomedical devices in class 2 and class 3 categories. Patent filed/granted in biomedical devices preferred. Demonstrated independent research, guidance of Master students, sponsored/EMR projects, SCI publications.

Eligibility for Medical Officer

• Essential: M.B.B.S. Degree in any one of the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and must be registered in State Medical Register or in Indian Medical Register.
• Desirable: Post Graduate Medical Qualification recognized by the MCI. Preference to MD in General Medicine.

Salary / Stipend

• Assistant Professor (Level-12, Cell-1): Basic Pay Rs. 78,800/-
• Medical Officer (Level-10, Cell-1): Basic Pay Rs. 56,100/-

Age Limit

Not exceeding 40 Years for all positions (as on 28 February 2026). Age relaxation applicable for OBC (3 years), SC/ST (5 years), PwBD (10/13/15 years), Ex-Servicemen, and Departmental candidates.

Application Fee

• Rs. 1000/- for both Teaching and Non-teaching posts (online payment).
• No fee for SC/ST/PwBD category candidates.
• Fee once paid will not be refunded.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on Screening Committee and Selection Committee recommendations. Shortlisting will be done based on criteria higher than the minimum prescribed. There will be a Written Test/Skill Test/Interview as applicable. No TA/DA is entitled.
