Applications are invited from the interested candidates for one temporary position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a Department of Science and Technology (DST)- Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Start-up Research Grant (SRG) Scheme, sponsored project titled “Edge Device Deployable Deep Learning Model For Screening Of Diabetic Retinopathy And Glaucoma In Rural India With High F-score” bearing the sanction number SRG/2021/000559 under taken in the Electrical Engineering Department.

3. Essential Qualifications: a) First class with not less than 60% aggregate (or) not less than 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale in B.E/B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering / Electronics Engineering/ Computer Science / Allied Branches. and

b) First class Master’s from Electrical Engineering / Electronics Engineering/ Computer Science / Allied Branches with GATE qualification. This point is exempted for IIT or NIT B.Tech

4. Project Title: Edge Device Deployable Deep Learning Model For Screening Of Diabetic Retinopathy And Glaucoma In Rural India With High F-score

5. Sponsoring Agency and Scheme: Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), New Delhi and Start-up Research Grant (SRG)

6. Duration of Project: Two Years

7. Consolidated monthly Salary Rs. 31,000/- per Month (No HRA)

8. Department: Electrical Engineering

9. Tenure of Assignment: 01 year, can be extended for another year based on satisfactory performance and availability of funds.

10. Desired Experience: Strong orientation towards Programming Convolutional Neural Networks based Deep learning architectures for Signal processing or image processing applications. Pytorch ot Tensorflow Good English writing skills and report writing

11. Other Benefits The selected candidate is eligible to register for Ph.D. degree at NIT Andhra Pradesh as per institute rules.
