National Institute of Technology Andhra Pradesh established in the year 2015 is an Institute of National Eminence and is the Youngest (31st) institution among the chain of NITs started by the Government of India under the aegis of Ministry of Education. Currently the Institute is offering B.Tech., M.Tech. and Ph.D. programmes.
The permanent campus was established in 172.6 acres of land adjacent to Chennai-Kolkata Highway (NH-16) in the historical air-strip lands of Tadepalligudem. The Institute has started its full operations in the permanent campus from January 2020. The campus is extremely well connected by road, by rail and by air. The Vijayawada Airport is 110 km away while Rajamahendravaram Airport is 50 km away from the campus.
The campus has all the required infrastructural facilities and amenities for the comfortable stay and successful career of its students.
