NITI Aayog requires the services ofa suitable officer the post of Director General (DG), Development and Monitoring Office on Contract/l)eputation (including short-term contract) basis. The details are as under:-

1. Post Name: Director General (DG), DMEO

2. Consolidated Pay for contractual appointment: Rs. 330000/-

3. Level and Pay Matrix for Deputation (ISTC): Level-15:Rs.182200-224100

4. Period of Contract/Deputation: 3 years (Extendable up to 5 years)

5. Essential Educational Oualifications :

Masters' Degree in any discipline or MBBS or Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or Passed in Sections A and B of the Institution Examinations of the Institute of Engineers (India) or Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Two years).

6. Desirable Educational Oualification: Doctorate in any discipline or Master's Degree in Engineering.

7. Minimum post qualification experience in Years: 18

8. Job Profile:

i. Lead a large team of monitoring and evaluation professionals to achieve the vision, mission and objectives of Development Monitoring and Evaluation Office pertaining to development and refinement of monitoring frameworks for application across government at the centre and the states;

ii. undertaking evaluation studies to enable evidence-based policy making; and strengthening the monitoring and evaluation eco- system in the country;

iii. In monitoring, the job will involve strengthening outcome-based monitoring of government policies/programmes including output outcome monitoring framework, data governance quality index, and global indices for reforms and growth at both the central and state level;

iv. Plan and execute time-bound evaluations and quick assessments of key government schemes as per the three-year plan for evaluation of all the central sector schemes followed by evaluation of all the centrally sponsored scheme over two-year period;
