Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL), a Miniratna Company and subsidiary of Coal India Limited, has released the NCL Mining Sirdar Recruitment 2026 Notification for regular recruitment to the posts of Mining Sirdar (T&S Grade C) and Surveyor (Mining) (T&S Grade B). Eligible Indian candidates can submit their online applications through the official website from 14 July 2026 to 05 August 2026. This recruitment drive offers 259 vacancies across different mines and establishments located in Singrauli (Madhya Pradesh) and Sonebhadra (Uttar Pradesh). Selection will be based on a Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by document verification.

- Mining Sirdar: Matric with valid Mining Sirdar Certificate + Gas Testing & First Aid Certificate OR Matric + Diploma/Degree in Mining Engineering with valid Overman Certificate, Gas Testing & First Aid Certificate.
- Surveyor: Matric with Surveyor Certificate of Competency OR Diploma/Degree in Mining/Mine Surveying Engineering with valid Surveyor Certificate.
Experience:Not required. However, possession of the valid statutory certificates (DGMS) is mandatory.
Skills:Knowledge of mining operations, safety regulations, and relevant statutory requirements.
Salary:
Basic Pay: Mining Sirdar - Rs. 47,330.25 per month; Surveyor - Rs. 51,103.12 per month (plus allowances as per rules).
Age Limit: 18 to 30 Years as on 05.08.2026. Age relaxation: SC/ST – 5 years; OBC (NCL) – 3 years; Ex-Servicemen and Departmental candidates as per rules.
Selection Procedure:
Computer Based Test (CBT) - 100 marks (70 marks Technical + 30 marks General Ability).
Document Verification.
Medical Examination.

SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/Departmental Candidates - Nil.
