🎯 Selection Process

  1. For Executives (EETs):

    • Interview: Shortlisted candidates undergo a Personal Interview (PI) and sometimes a Group Discussion (GD).
    • Final Merit: 85% weightage to GATE marks and 15% to the interview.
  2. For Non-Executives (Diploma/Trainees):
    • CBT: A two-stage Computer-Based Test consisting of Aptitude (General English, Quant, Reasoning) and Technical Knowledge.
    • Skill Test: A qualifying practical/skill test for specific technical trades.

💡 Expert Tips: How to Crack NSPCL Exams

  • Prioritize GATE Preparation: For engineering roles, your GATE score is the primary gateway. Focus on core technical concepts as the merit list is heavily skewed towards your GATE performance.
  • Safety and Environmental Standards: If applying for specialized officer roles, be thorough with the Factories Act and Environmental Protection regulations, as these are frequently tested.
  • Time Management in CBT: For non-executive exams, the Aptitude section often acts as a filter. Practice speed-maths and logical puzzles to ensure you have enough time for the 70-80 technical questions.
