Technical Assistant

Number of Vacancy: 33 Posts

Educational Qualification:
Technical Assistant (Power Station- Electrical): Candidates Should have Full time regular Diploma in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering with minimum 60% marks.

Technical Assistant (Power Station- Mechanical): Candidates Should have Full time regular Diploma in Mechanical / Production Engineering with minimum 60% marks.

Technical Assistant (Power Station- C&I): Candidates Should have Full time regular Diploma in Instrumentation/ Electronics Engineering with minimum 60 % marks.

Technical Assistant (Power Station- Chemistry): Candidates Should have Full time regular B.Sc. in Chemistry with minimum 60% marks.

Pay Scale:
INR
60000/- Per Month

Age Limit: Maximum 30 Years.

Selection Procedure: The selection shall be based on 2 stages:
a. 1 stage: Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by 2 stage – Skill Test. st
b. 1 Stage - Written test in CBT mode- The CBT test shall consist of 120 question. 40 Questions will consist of MCQs from General Knowledge, English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning and rest 80 questions shall be MCQs from trade / discipline specific questions. The qualifying marks for the written test are 40%.
c. Exam duration will be of 2 hours. Each correct answer will fetch 01 mark to the candidate and for each incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted from the overall score of the candidate, However, there will be no negative marking for the unanswered questions. nd d.
2 stage - Based on the performance in the written test, candidates shall be shortlisted discipline wise in order of merit, based on the call ratio of 1:5 for the skill test. However, 2nd stage skill test will only be qualifying in nature. The qualifying marks of skill test are 40%. e. The final merit list will be prepared based on the marks of CBT test of those candidates who qualify in the skill test.

Application Fee: Candidate belonging to General category is required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 300/-. The candidates from SC/ST/PwBD/XSM category and female candidates need not pay the registration fee.
