Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Junior Engineer (Civil) - Water Resources

• Essential: Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification from the Institution recognized by the Odisha Council of Technical Education & Vocational Training.

Eligibility for Junior Civil Engineer - Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water

• Essential: Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification from the Institution recognized by the Odisha Council of Technical Education & Vocational Training.

Eligibility for Junior Engineer (Civil) - Municipal Administration

• Essential: Diploma in Civil Engineering from an institution recognized by the Directorate of Technical Education, Odisha and must be a Computer literate.

Eligibility for Tracer (District offices) - State Cadre

• Essential: Should possess High School Certificate examination or equivalent to HSC examination and NTC (Draughtsman Civil) from a recognized institution.
• Skills: Certificate towards Basic Computer Skill and Auto CAD Course from a recognized institution.

Eligibility for Tracer (State Cadre Field)

• Essential: Should possess High School Certificate examination or equivalent to HSC examination and NTC (Draughtsman Civil) from a recognized institution.
• Skills: Certificate towards Basic Computer Skill and Auto CAD Course from a recognized institution.

Eligibility for Junior Draughtsman (H&V Cadre)

• Essential: HSC with NTC pass in Draughtsman (Civil) affiliated by NCVT.
• Skills: Knowledge in Computer Application & AutoCAD.

Eligibility for Architectural Assistant

• Essential: Diploma in Architectural Assistantship from an Institution recognized by the Odisha Council of Technical Education & Vocational Training.

Eligibility for Cameraman

• Essential: Higher Secondary (+2) with Diploma/Degree in Cinematography from recognized University.
• Skills: Skill in Digital camera, lighting, camera set up and AV production.

Eligibility for Photographer

• Essential: Higher Secondary (+2) with Diploma in Cinematography from recognized institutions.
• Skills: Skills in Digital photography for still or video editing, use of various related software and storage of digital images.

Eligibility for Sound Recordist

• Essential: Higher Secondary (+2) with Diploma/Degree in Sound Recording & TV Engineering/Sound Recording from any recognized institute/University.
• Skills: Skills in both field and studio recording, video and other digital sound recording, sound mixing, and repairing of audio equipment.

Eligibility for Mechanic

• Essential: Higher Secondary (+2) with Diploma in Electronics from any institution.
• Skills: Skills in repairing of equipment.

Eligibility for Video Film Editor

• Essential: Higher Secondary (+2) with Diploma/Degree in Film Production from recognized Institute/University.
• Skills: Skills in production, Editing, Multimedia and Archival.

Eligibility for Assistant Operator

• Essential: Diploma in Electronics from any recognized institute.
• Skills: Knowledge in operation and maintenance of audio visual equipment.

Salary/Stipend

Group-B Posts: Junior Engineer, Junior Civil Engineer, Architectural Assistant, Cameraman, Photographer, Sound Recordist, Mechanic, Video Film Editor – Level-9, Cell-1 of ORSP, 2017.

Group-C Posts (Level-5): Tracer, Junior Draughtsman – Level-5, Cell-1 of ORSP, 2017.

Group-C Post (Level-4): Assistant Operator – Level-4, Cell-1 of ORSP, 2017.
