Number of Vacancy: 1 Posts
Educational Qualification: A Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in point-scale wherever the grading system is followed.
Experience: At least ten years as a Librarian at any level in University Library or ten years of teaching as Assistant/Associate Professor in Library Science or ten years experience as a College Librarian.

As Per Rules
Age Limit: Should have completed 45 years but not exceeding 50 years as on 15.12.2021.
Application Fee: The amount of Rs.1000/- and 500/- respectively for general and SC/ST candidates (non-refundable) has to be paid towards the cost of application and registration fees.

Application form, cost, details of qualification, experience, scale of pay and terms & conditions can be obtained from the office of the Registrar, Periyar University or downloaded from the website: www.periyaruniversity.ac.in. Filled in application form along with the required enclosures should reach the University on or before 19.01.2022. Application submitted beyond 5.00 p.m. on the last date will not be accepted. The envelope should carry the superscription “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF UNIVERSITY LIBRARIAN at Periyar University, Salem-636 011.
