Physical Research Laboratory (PRL) Invites Application for Light Vehicle Driver-A Recruitment 2021

Physical Research Laboratory (PRL), a premier Scientific & Research Institute and an Autonomous Unit under the of Space, Government of India, is looking for young, dynamic and motivated candidate fulfilling eligibility conditions, for the following positions as detailed below:

1. Post Name: Light Vehicle Driver-A (LVD-A)

2. Salary: Level 2:19,900- 63,200/-)

3. No of Post: 02

4. Qualification: Pass in SSLC/SSC/ Matric/10th Std.

5. Experience:

i. 3 years of as Light vehicle Driver. Must possess valid LVD licence.

ii. Any other requirement of the Motor Vehicle Act of Gujarat State should be met within 3 months from the date of joining the post.

iii. Total prescribed experience should be after obtaining valid Driving Licence.

iv. Experience Certificate should only be from Government / Semi- Government agencies / Registered Companies / Societies / Trusts, etc

v. Experience Certificate from individuals will not be accepted. Part time experience will not be considered for calculation of number of years of for Candidate should the requisite qualification, experience and requirement of Public Service Badge as on the last date of receipt of online application.

Selection Procedure

1. Mode of Selection: Written Test + Skill Test

2. The qualification prescribed is the minimum requirement and possession of the same does not automatically make candidates eligible for further evaluation for selection.

3. There will be an initial screening based on the online application. The criteria for screening will be decided vis-a-vis the number of total applications or any other criteria as decided by the Director, PRL.

4. A Written Test wül be conducted for the Screened-ln candidates & based on the written test scores, the required no. of candidates alone shall be called for skill tests.

5. Written Tests will be conducted in such a way that theoretical and practical knowledge of the candidate is tested covering both breadth and depth of the prescribed curriculum.

6. The skill test will be purely on a 'go-no-go' basis and marks obtained in the skill test will not be considered for selection.

7. The skill test will be evaluated on a 100- point scale with a minimum of 60% for qualification. From amongst candidates who qualify in the skill test with the minimum of 60% marks, will be done in the order of marks obtained in the written test.

8. In case of a tie in the written scores, the academic scores of the notified qualification will be the tie-breaker.
