Physical therapy or physiotherapy is a physical medicine and rehabilitation specialty that remediates impairments and promotes mobility, function, and quality of life through examination, diagnosis, prognosis, and physical intervention. A physiotherapist needs to be very calm by nature and should hold Bachelor’s or Master’s degree depending upon the job requirement. They work with a variety of patients including the physically disabled children, pre/post natal women, sportsmen and women, industrial employees, a hospital in and out patients. They supervise specialist therapies such as hydrotherapy, electrotherapy, and aromatherapy. They coordinate with doctors and nurses to find out the suitable exercise and treatment which suits the patient. They need to be good in oral communication. They provide advice on various exercise and movement. There is various job requirement for physiotherapy in government hospitals and other government-run institutions of care. Experienced people are preferred more than freshers.
