Educational Qualification: B.Sc, M.Sc, M.Phil/Ph.D
One post of Research Associate @ Rs. 47,000/- per month fixed + 16% HRA in the Project entitled “Molecular cloning and characterization of Xa38 loci conferring resistance to bacterial blight (BB) disease in rice and identification of novel and superior alleles’’ CSS-11(PC-6301).
1. Position: Research Associate
2. No of Post: 01
3. Qualification:
a) B.Sc. with minimum OCPA 6.00/10.00 basis or 60% marks.
b) M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Plant Biotechnology/Agricultural Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/Plant Sciences/Life Science/Plant Breeding and Genetics/Plant Pathology with at least 6.50/10.00 OCPA or 65% marks.
c) Ph.D in the area of Biotechnology/Plant Biotechnology/Agricultural Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/Plant Sciences/Life Science/Plant Breeding and Genetics/Plant Pathology with minimum OCPA 6.5/10.00 basis or 65% marks.
4. Salary: Rs. 47,000/- per month fixed + 16% HRA
Note-I: The candidates, who does not possess Master’s degree in the relevant subject but possesses Ph.D degree in the discipline required at Master’s level, shall be eligible for the post.
Note-II: Candidate should possess excellent skills in the area of gene cloning, expression analysis, genetic transformation, protein-protein interactions etc. as evident from high quality first author publication(s) in peer reviewed journals. Background knowledge of host-pathogen interactions and ability to handle large datasets such as genomes or transcriptomes/metabolomes will be plus.
