Applications from the eligible candidates are invited for one position of Jr. Research Fellow provided in the scheme, “North Indian Centre for Water Technology Research in Agriculture” CSS 41 (PC 6294) @ Rs. 31,000/- fixed+ 16% HRA p.m. on the prescribed proforma obtainable from the office Room no. 112 of this department against the payment of Rs. 200/- in the shape of bank draft in favour of Comptroller, PAU Ludhiana.

3. Essential Qualifications: B.Sc(Medical)/ B.Sc (Hons.) with any Biological Science/ B.Sc. Agri/ B.Sc. Agri. (Hons.)/B.Sc. Hort./B. Sc (Forestry)/ Bachelor of Computer Applications/ B.Sc./IT)/ B.Sc. ( Computer Science)/B.Sc. Biotech (Hons.)/ B.Sc. Food Tech./ B. Tech. Food Tech. with minimum OCPA of 6.00/10.00 basis or 60% marks. M.Sc. in Agronomy/ M.Sc. in Agricultural Meteorology/ Master of Computer Applications with minimum OCPA 6.50/10.00 basis or 65% marks.

4. Desirable: Work experience in relevant field and exposure to data analysis.

5. Note I : The candidates must have passed NET. However, Ph.D. candidates are exempted from this condition.

6. Note II. The candidate who does not possess Master's degree in the relevant subject(s) i.e., Agronomy /Agricultural Meteorology/ Computer Applications but possesses Ph.D. degree in Agronomy/Agricultural Meteorology/ Computer Applications shall be eligible for the post.

7. The fellowship is purely temporary and initially awarded for a period of six months which may be extended for a further period of six months at a time or till the termination of the scheme whichever is earlier.

8. The Research Fellow resigning the Fellowship shall have to give one month notice or one month salary in lieu of one month notice. However, this will not hold good in respect of other assignments in the PAU.
