Age Limit:18-25 years as on 01.01.2027 (Born between 02.01.2002 and 01.01.2009, both days inclusive). No age relaxation is permissible.
Sports Achievement Period:Recognized sports achievements should be on or after 01.04.2024.
Educational Qualification & Experience:Varies by level and post. Refer to the detailed table above. Candidates appearing for final exams are not eligible.
Skills:Proficiency in the specific sport, physical fitness, game skills.
Salary:
As per 7th CPC Pay Levels: Level-2 (GP 1900) and Level-1 (GP 1800).
Selection Procedure: Field Trials (Game skill, physical fitness, coach's observations) + Assessment of Sports Achievements + Educational Qualification. Minimum qualifying marks: 65 for Level-2, 60 for Level-1.
Application Fee:
- All candidates (except SC/ST/ESM/Minorities/EBC): ₹500 (₹400 refundable on appearing in trials)
- SC/ST/ESM/Minorities/EBC: ₹250 (fully refundable on appearing in trials)
- Fee must be paid via crossed Indian Postal Order (IPO) or Demand Draft (DD) in favour of "Principal Financial Adviser (PFA), Rail Wheel Factory, Yelahanka, Bangalore-560 064".
