4. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with English as a core subject with minimum 50% marks or an equivalent grade in the point scale from a recognized Indian university or from an accredited foreign university.

a. Master degree in English with minimum 559% marks from a recognized Indian university or from an accredited foreign university. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGCICSIR/ or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLETNET. Notwithstanding anything contained in (Gii) candidates who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the University Grant Commission (Minimum standards and Procedure for

b, Award of Ph.D. degree) regulations 2009 subject to the condition of producing a NET exemption certificate as mentioned in shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for requirement and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/Colleges//nstitutions. 4. Qualifications: Bachelor in Agriculture, having minimum 50% Marks or equivalent OGPA. M.Sc. (Ag) in concerned subject, having minimum 55% Marks or equivalent OGPA. Passed National Eligibility Test conducted by the 1CAR/UGCICSsIR or some other agency approved by UGC, along with one publication in NAAS rated refereed journal for all the disciplines in which NET is conducted.

a. Essentiality of NET can be waived off. for the candidates holding Ph.D. degree in concerned subject done with course work as prescribed by the UGC regulation 2009 subject to the condition of producing a NET exemption certificate as mentioned in Annexure-1 and having two full length publications having NAAS rating not less than
