Number of Vacancy: 01 Posts
Educational Qualification: M.Sc / M.Tech (preferably in Physics) or B.E./B.Tech (preferably in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering). Knowledge of statistical mechanics, familiarity with soft condensed matter/ material science, experience in coding/ image analysis. Desirable: Demonstrated competence in performing experiments. Interest in performing material science experiments (synthesis of colloidal particles if required, characterization and experimentation using available resources), and experience in coding and standard plotting/ analysis software.
Pay Scale: INR 31000/- Per Month
Age Limit: Maximum 30 Years.

Statement of purpose (1page max), which should include, (i) what motivates the applicant to apply for the above post (ii) why the applicant is the appropriate choice for the opening (iii) some proposed research ideas? 4.
