Eligibility for Senior Professor

  • Essential Qualification: Ph.D in Physics/Astronomy and Astrophysics/Space Science and/or in a relevant field. A minimum of fourteen years' post-doctoral experience.
  • Experience: Demonstrated leadership and broad vision in the field of Astronomy and Astrophysics. Experience and expertise to lead major initiatives and capacity building, in particular, in space science research.
  • Desirable: Evidence of high professional eminence by way of recognitions like fellowships of academies and/or national/international awards in science and technology.
