Ramjas Foundation is located in Daryaganj, New Delhi is an Educational Society established in the year 1912 by its Founder Late Rai Kedar Nath ji to commemorate the name of his father Lala Ramjas Mal Ji. Ramjas Foundation stands for serving the cause of education without any commercial motive.
The Founder purchased 350 acres of land in two villages- Chowkri Mubarikabad and Sharodha Khurad (now known as Anand Parvat). The said land was dedicated in the year 1936 through Regd. release deed to the Foundation. Late Rai Kedar Nath also dedicated (Sarvasva Daan) all his belonging to the Ramjas Foundation.
The Founder, Late Rai Kedar Nath Ji was a great visionary, who thought to provide education to masses when education was available only to the privileged ones. Lacks of students passed from the Ramjas Institutions and are serving in different fields. The Founder was a man of simple living and high thinking.
At present, Ramjas Foundation is running 16 schools, one Day-Boarding School, one Post-Graduate Ramjas College and Ramjas Sports & Mountaineering Institute. The Foundation is also going to start a Vocational Institute. Ramjas College was started in 1918 and is now going to celebrate its 90th Anniversary (Platinum Jubilee). The standards of academic results are always 100% in Unaided Schools and between 80-100% in Aided Schools.
