Applicants must be Central Government employees holding analogous posts or having the required service length. Detailed eligibility is as follows:

1. Private Secretary (Pay Level-7)

• Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre/Department, OR
• With 5 years regular service in Pay Level-6 as Stenographer Grade-I.

2. Stenographer Grade-I (Pay Level-6)

• Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre/Department, OR
• With 10 years regular service in Pay Level-4 as Stenographer Grade-II.

3. Accountant (Pay Level-7)

• Officers under Central Govt./Autonomous Bodies/State Govt./PSUs holding analogous post with experience in Cash, Accounts, and Budget, OR
• 3 years regular service in Pay Level-6 with Accounts experience, OR
• Working in Organized Accounts Dept. as Accountant/Jr. Accountant in Pay Level-6 with 3 years service.

4. Upper Division Clerk (UDC) (Pay Level-4)

• Officers of Central Govt. holding analogous post on regular basis, OR
• 8 years regular service as Lower Division Clerk (LDC) in Pay Level-2 or equivalent.

General Conditions

• Age Limit: Maximum 56 years as on the closing date of application.
• Deputation Period: Initially 1 year, extendable up to 3 years.
