Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

Field Worker

• Essential Qualification: Graduate Degree in any discipline
• Desirable: Overall good academic background with research experience handling biological specimens
• Desirable: Prior research experience (experimental exposure as part of a research project or dissertation) in the field of gut inflammation
• Desirable: Experience in handling Salmonella-related work and conducting experiments related to gut inflammation
• Desirable: Experience in microbial and molecular biology techniques, gene cloning, confocal microscopy, mass spectrometry, etc.

Senior Research Fellow

• Essential Qualification: Post Graduate degree in Basic Science or Graduate/Post-Graduate degree in professional courses selected through any one of the following:
  • Scholars selected through National Eligibility Tests — CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE
  • Selection through National-level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies/institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc., with a research experience of minimum 2 years
• Desirable: Overall good academic background with prior research experience of minimum 2 years in relevant field
• Desirable: Experience in Post-Translational Modification (PTM), specifically SUMOylation
• Desirable: Experienced in handling cell lines
• Desirable: Experience in inflammation-related assays and gut inflammation
• Desirable: Experience in handling molecular microbiology assays
• Desirable: Experience in molecular biology techniques, gene cloning, confocal microscopy, mass spectrometry, etc.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Shortlisted candidates will be informed by email to appear in an online interview.
• The online interview will be held on 23 November 2026 from 10:00 AM onwards.
• The notification does not describe any additional screening stage (written test or skill test) beyond the online interview.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the online interview.
