Educational Qualification:Qualified Company Secretary from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).
Skills:Company secretarial practices, corporate governance, compliance, financial and secretarial works, communication, and legal expertise.
Age Limit:Maximum 43 years for JGM and 41 years for DGM as on 02.09.2026. Relaxations are applicable for reserved categories (SC/ST: 5 years; OBC-NCL: 3 years; PwBD: 10 years; RITES employees: 5 years; J&K Domicile: 5 years).
Salary (per month):
Pay Scale: JGM: ₹80,000 – 2,20,000; DGM: ₹70,000 – 2,00,000 per month, plus DA and other admissible allowances as per RITES rules.
Selection Procedure:
- Document Scrutiny: Online applications and uploaded documents will be scrutinized. Candidates found eligible will be called for document verification and interview.
- Interview: Weightage: Interview (100%) - Technical & Professional Proficiency (65), Personality, Communication & Competency (35). Minimum qualifying marks: 60% for UR/EWS, 50% for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD (against reserved posts).
- Medical Examination: Appointment is subject to being medically fit as per RITES standards.

- General/OBC: Rs. 600/- plus taxes
- SC/ST/PwBD/EWS: Rs. 300/- plus taxes
- Fee is non-refundable. For SC/ST/PwBD, the fee will be refunded upon participation in the selection process, after verification of category certificates.
