Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications
For TGT Posts (Social Sc., Gen Sc-Physics, Maths)
- Four-year integrated degree course from Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks OR Bachelor's Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject/combination.
- TGT (Social Sc.): Graduate with any two of Geography, History, Economics, Pol. Science (one must be Geography or History). Detailed honours degree rules apply.
- TGT (Gen Sc-Physics): Bachelor Degree in Physics with any two of Mathematics, Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science, Statistics.
- TGT (Maths): Bachelor Degree in Maths with any two of Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science, Statistics. BA (Hons) in Maths and B.Sc (Hons) in any subject other than Maths are not eligible.
- B.Ed or equivalent degree in relevant subject from a recognized University.
- CTET Pass: Pass in Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper-II (Compulsory for TGT posts).
- Proficiency in teaching in English medium. Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications.
