Educational Qualification: B.Com
The Salim Ali Centre for Ornithology and Natural History (SACON), under the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Govt. of India invites applications from eligible candidates (Indian National only) for the position of (1) Accountant and (2) Driver.
1. Position: Accountant
2. No of Post: 01
3. Essential Qualifications:
(i) Graduate in Commerce/Accountancy (10+2+3) from a Recognized University.
(ii) Two years experience in Accounts in Govt/ PSU/Autonomous Bodies.
(iii) Proficiency in maintenance of records related to Accounts.
4. Tasks & Responsibilities: To prepare bills, finalisation of accounts, tax returns, annual budgets, auditing and upkeep of account books, to make relevant entries/data in Tally, MS-Office, MS-Excel etc. up to date as per Govt. of India rules.

Selection Procedure
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview at SACON, Coimbatore. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

Neatly typed application on the prescribed form with self-attested copies of testimonials should reach "The Director, Salim Ali Centre for Ornithology and Natural History, Anaikatty Post, Coimbatore-641 108 (Tamil Nadu)" within 30 days from the date of publication of this advertisement. The envelope containing application should be superscribed with "Application for the post of Accountant/Driver".
2. Applications not received in the prescribed form are liable to be rejected. Applications received without self-attested copies of supporting documents and / or incomplete in any other respects shall not be considered. No original documents should be sent with applications and they should be produced only at the time of interview.
3. Candidates, employed with other institutions/ organisations/ firms should send their applications through proper channel and should produce "No Objection Certificate" at the time of Interview In such cases, an advance copy of the application in personal capacity may be sent.
