Assistant Professor

Number of Vacancy: 50 Posts (UR-25, EWS-02, OBC-05, SC-08, ST-10)

Educational Qualification: All new entrants shall have Ph. D. in the relevant or equivalent discipline and shall have first class in the preceding degrees (Batchelor‟s Degree onwards).

Pay Scale: INR 70900-101500/- Per Month

Age Limit: Maximum 60 Years.

Selection Procedure: The selection process consists of the scrutiny of applications and shortlisting, followed by the screening test/presentation/interview. The detailed procedure for selection/examination pattern/syllabus/ schedule of examination, etc., will be intimated in due course of time and will be uploaded on the Institute website.

Application Fee: The SC, ST, PwD, female candidates, and faculty members of SVNIT, Surat are exempted from payment of processing fees. The other candidates should pay a nonrefundable processing fee of Rs.1000 (Rupees One Thousand only) for each application through the online portal only. The application fee, once paid, will not be refunded under any circumstances.
