Shri Ayurved Mahavidyalaya , Nagpur was established on 13th February 1949 through the inspiration of Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj. Shri Ayurved Mahavidyalaya in one of the oldest Ayurved College in Maharashtra. It is a Government aided College having undergraduate and Postgraduate Courses in Ayurveda and Acupressure, Yoga and Naturopathy. The College also runs one year certificate Courses recognized by Government of Maharashtra Technical Education Department.

Bharatiya Vaidyak Samanvaya Samiti has started this college with great pleasure in 1953 which was later on recognized by Vidarbha Ayurved Board in 1956.
