Note: Candidates who have already undergone/are undergoing apprenticeship training in any organization are NOT eligible. Priority is given to SCCL/Retired Employee Children and PAF/PDF candidates.
Educational Qualification:Post-specific qualifications as detailed in the vacancy table. Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination in the last five years (2022-2026).
Age Limit:Minimum 18 years and Maximum 28 years (General) as on 31.07.2026. Relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/BC candidates.
Stipend:
Graduate Apprentices: ₹12,300 per month.
Diploma Apprentices: ₹10,900 per month.
Stipend is shared equally (50% by SCCL and 50% by BOAT/NATS via DBT).
Selection Procedure:
- Inter-seniority based on the year of passing and merit within that year.
- Priority given to SCCL/Retired Employee Children and PAF/PDF candidates.
- Reservation as per SCCL's extant policy (Local, Caste, EWS). Vacant reserved slots will be diverted to the open category.
- Scrutiny of applications at MVTCs/GVTCs.
Application Fee: No registration/application fee.
How to Apply
Candidates must apply through a three-step process: NATS 2.0 registration, SCCL portal application, and hard copy submission at the nearest MVTC/GVTC.
- NATS 2.0 Registration: Register on the NATS 2.0 portal: www.nats.education.gov.in. Obtain a registration number.
- SCCL Portal Application: Apply through the SCCL portal: www.scclmines.com/apprenticeship between 06.08.2026 (12:00 PM) and 16.08.2026 (5:00 PM). Upload the required documents (SSC, Graduate/Diploma certificate, caste/reservation certificates, etc.) in PDF format (50 KB to 250 KB) and a recent photo (10 KB to 50 KB).
- Submit Hard Copy: Submit the duly signed portal-generated application printout, along with the NATS registration form, certificate copies, and the first page of the UBI bank account passbook, at the nearest Area Group/Mines Vocational Training Centre (GVTC/MVTC) within the same period (06.08.2026 to 16.08.2026).
Important: Candidates must have a bank account with Union Bank of India (UBI) in any SCCL salary-disbursing branch, with Aadhaar linking, e-KYC, and DBT enabled.

Key Instructions for Candidates
- NATS Registration is Mandatory: Candidates must register on the NATS 2.0 portal before applying on the SCCL portal.
- Hard Copy Submission: Online application alone is not sufficient. The hard copy of the application must be submitted at the nearest MVTC/GVTC within the deadline.
