Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), was introduced on 20th September 2011 Under the administrative control of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, (MNRE), Government of India. The motto of (SECI) is “to built ‘Green India Through harnessing abundant solar radiation and to achieve energy security for the Country”.
The prime objective of Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), is to develop solar technologies and ensuring inclusive solar power and develop ultra mega solar parks, to promote integrated power generation project of solar with conventional & renewable sources.
