Sub:-Recruitment against Sports Quota (Open Advertisement) for the year 2021-22.
i. Online applications are invited from eligible Sportspersons in following sports disciplines in 7th CPC Pay Matrix Level-2 or 3, Level-4 and Level-5 on South East Central Railway:

3. Minimum Educational Qualification:
i. Level-2/3:
12th Pass alongwith sports achievements -for non-technical posts. OR 1 0th with ITI Pass alongwith sports achievements -for technical posts. OR 1 0th Pass alongwith sports achievements. However, candidates having 10th qualification will be considered only for Technician categories, and their training period will be 03 years, unless they pass ITI qualification in the relevant trade, in which case it will be 06 months.
ii. Level-4:
Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university, alongwith sports achievements. OR ISt Year B.Sc. (Physics) or 12th (+2stage) in Science (Physics or Maths) Pass alongwith sports achievements OR 12th (+2stage) with Stenography (Hindi or English as per scheduled standards for recruitment in Rlys.), alongwith sports achievements
iii. Level 5: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university, alongwith sports achievements.
4. Period of reckoning Sports Achievements:
The Sports achievements of current and previous two financial years will only be taken into account for eligibility. Therefore, the Sports achievement on or after 01.04.2019 will only be considered.

Selection Procedure
1. Trials of the candidates shall be conducted to assess their sports performance and suitability for Railway/Unit team as well as Indian Railways' team. Trial Committee shall give its recommendation in terms of either FIT or NOT FIT, for consideration for next stage. The candidates securing minimum 25 marks in trials will be declared FIT and will be considered for next stage of recruitment.
2 Selection will be based on performance in sports trials and documents verification to be conducted and finalized by a nominated selection committee. The venue and date for trials, documents verification etc. will be intimated through website only to the eligible candidates.
3. Candidates are advised to visit website regularly for getting all updates. The trials for different Pay Levels may be held separately. Railway administration, South East Central Railway, Bilaspur reserves the right to cancel or modify recruitment process at any stages without assigning reasons thereof.
How to Apply:
1. Closing Date up to 23.59 hrs.: 05.03.2022
2. Only Online application will be accepted. Candidates are advised to follow the instructions given in "HOW TO APPLY" while submitting online application.

4. Candidates are advised to visit given website regularly for getting all updates time to time.
Important Instructions:
1. The candidates should carefully fill the application form
2. The Date of Birth, name and initials of the candidate (with correct spelling), Father's name etc appearing in the application form shall tally with the same appearing in school/college certificates/sports certificates & DOB certificate.
3. Please obtain caste certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EBC) in the prescribed proforma from the appropriate authority and produce original at the time of verification.
4. Caste certificates issued by the authorities other than those authorized, will not be considered.
5. Candidate may also apply for more than one Sports Discipline/Events for which separate application is to be submitted with paying examination fee separately.
6. However, they cannot apply for more than one position in the same Sports Discipline/Event. Selected candidate has to pass prescribed medical examination for allotted post.
7. The medical exam will be conducted by Railway medical authorities prior to her/his appointment.
8. Candidates belonging to SC/ST communities will be given free traveling authority in second class when called for trials
9. No Accommodation and TA/DA will be provided while appearing in the selections/ trials
10. Candidates should come prepared to stay at the place of trials for 2-3 days.
11. They have to bring their own sports kit/equipment and should make their own arrangement for stay
12. Immediately after closing date for online application, the eligible candidates may be called for trial at very short notice for which candidates should be ready.
13. The call letters will not be sent to candidates separately by post.
14. They will have to visit the website of SECR i.e. www.secr.indianrailways.gov.in regularly and download call letter through the given link.
