Skills / Eligibility

1. Position: Junior Research Fellow

2. No of Post: 01 SC (Backlog)

3. Qualification (Essential): MSc in Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Microbiology.|

4. Qualification (Desirable): M Phil in Biotechnology/Biomedical Technology

5. Experience (Desirable): Experience in working with mammalian cell culture, biomaterials, real time PCR and western blotting/ Work experience in mesenchymal cells and microRNA.

6. Job description: Selected person will be working on; Collagen based biomaterial and mouse cardiac mesenchymal cells; Analysis of cardiac mesenchymal cells efficacy in in-vivo MI model and subsequent characterization using histopathology and molecular techniques.

7. Monthly emoluments: Rs. 19200/- (Consolidated)

8. Duration: For a period of four months likely to be extended upto one year.

Mode of selection: Walk-In-Interview

2. Time of reporting: 09.00 AM

3. Venue: Biomedical Technology Wing, Satelmond Palace, Poojappura, Thiruvananthapuram-695 012

4. Those who fulfil the above requirements may report for an interview as per the above schedule along with bio- data, original certificates and copies to prove age, qualifications, experience and a valid caste certificate (SC) at the time of Interview in the prescribed format applicable for employment in Central Government Institutions issued by a Revenue Officer not below the rank of a Tahsildar.

5. In the absence of SC candidate, eligible EWS candidates will be considered against that category, subject to the submission of valid income and asset certificate at the time of Interview in the prescribed format applicable for employment in Central Government Institutions issued by a Revenue Officer not below the rank of a Tahsildar

6. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Candidates reporting after 09.15 AM will NOT be considered for selection. Candidates already in service have to produce a No Objection Certificate from the present employer at the time of interview.
