Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Project Associate II

• Essential Qualification: (i) Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Technology. (ii) Qualified in any of the National Eligibility Test like – GATE or UGC-CSIR-NET or selected under National Level Exam conducted by agencies like DST, DBT, ICMR, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, IIT, IISc, IISER, SCTIMST, etc. or equivalent bodies.
• Desirable Qualification: Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Technology.
• Essential Experience: 2 years' experience in research and development in industrial and academic institutions or Science and Technology organizations and Scientific activities and services.
• Desirable Experience: Proficiency in parametric CAD concept modeling, FEA and kinematic simulation, Mechanical testing & evaluation.
• Age Limit: 35 years (as on 01-01-2026).

Selection Process

The applications will be screened and eligible candidates will be called for an Interview conducted at the Biomedical Technology Wing of the Institute at Poojappura, Thiruvananthapuram. Intimation regarding the schedule will be sent to the email ID provided in the ONLINE application form. Depending on the number of candidates, a written test of a qualifying nature may be conducted for initial screening.
