The Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences invites applications for the following posts from candidates having Indian citizenship as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India, and having requisite qualifications and experiences, for recruitment to various Dosts. as shown below: 1. Post Name: Controller of Examinations 2. No. of Post: 01 3. The appointment to the post will be for a fixed term of not exceeding five deputation/ lien from State Govt. / Central Govt. Candidates on Autonomous Bodies may also be selected on contract basis. years or on deputation. 4. Pay Scale: Pay Band of Rs.1,44,200/- to Rs.2,18,200/- + other allowances as admissible as per rules (Academic Level 14) 5. Qualifications & Experience required for the Post: A person of very good academic standing, high professional integrity and wide ranging academic attainments and experience with PG Degree in any branch of Allopathic Medicine from any recognized University. Appointment shall be for 5 years on contractual basis. Candidates already in service in State Govt. Central Govt. í Autonomous Bodies shall apply through proper channel and shall have to submit NOC from present employer allowing deputation/ lien as mav be applicable if selected. 4. Pay Scale: Pay Band of Rs.78,800 /- to Rs.2,09,200/- + other allowances as admissible as per rules (Academic Level 12) 5. Qualifications & Experience required for the Post: PG Degree in any branches of Allopathic Medicine from any recognized University or Masters Degree with at least 55% of marks or an equivalent grade with Ph.D. For Medical Candidates: Associate Professor with minimum 2 years experience in Allopathic Medicine or For Non-Medical Candidates: 9 (nine) years of experience as Assistant Professor in the Academic Level 10. 6. Desirable: Qualifications & Experience required for the Post: A person of very good academic standing, high professional integrity experience with PG Degree in any branch of Allopathic Medicine from any recognized University. Professor of Allopathy with ten years experience in teaching as Associate Professor and Professor. 7. Desirable: Experience in Educational Administration or Comparable experience in research establishment and or other institutions of higher education or 5 years of administrative experience as Assistant Registrar, or in equivalent posts. Medical candidates must possess Basic Course in Medical Education. LFunctional computer literacy 1. Post Name: Finance & Accounts Officer 2. No. of Post: 01 3. The appointment to the post will be purely contractual initially for a period of 3(three) years. 4. Pay Scale: Last Pay minus Pension. 5. Eligibility for the Post: Retired Officers of Assam Finance Service.

Selection Procedure
Only shortlisted candidates shall be called for interview. Candidates selected for interview will have to appear before the Selection Committee at their own cost, when called for. Any addendum/ corrigendum shall be posted only in the University website

2. Those in employment shall have to submit No Objection Certificate from the present employer at the time of interview.
