Number of Vacancy: 6 Posts

Educational Qualification: B.Tech/B.E

Applications are invited for immediate engagement of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the following Projects funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Science and Engineering Research Board (DST-SERB), Government of India, New Delhi. purely on a temporary basis only, initially for a period of One Year which is likely may be extended and co-terminus with the duration of the project(s), from those who fulfill the conditions of Qualifications/Age, etc. as follows:

1. Post Name: Junior Research Fellow

2. Qualification: B.E B.Tech in Civil Engineering or its equivalent with valid GATE score.

3. Desirable: M.E M.Tech M.S. (Civil Structural Engineering) from recognized University Institute or equivalent and GATE Score Knowledge of one or more of the following areas: Knowledge in computer programming using MATLAB. Knowledge in Finite Element Software package ANSYS/ABAQUS. Good understanding of Finite element Methods and structural dynamics.

4. Tenure : 3 years

5. Research and Development towards Structural Health Monitoring. Vehicle-structure interaction models. Machine learning algorithms.

6. Project Title: "Development of a drive-by-vehicle for Bridge Health Monitoring of a population of Bridges" GAP 51

7. Emoluments per month 31,000/-+ HRA as applicable.

2. Qualification: (i) B.E B.Tech in Civil Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent with valid GATE score.

3. Desirable: M.E M.Tech M.S. (Structural Engineering) from recognized University Institute or equivalent and GATE Score Knowledge of one or more of the following areas are desirable Structural dynamics. Basics of programming languages like MATLAB etc.

4. Tenure : 3 years

5. Development of tools for multi- hazard response analysis of of structures and its experimental validation.

6. Project Title: "A generalized framework of multi-hazard response analysis and fragility assessment of structures using force-based real- time hybrid simulation"

7. Emoluments per month 31,000/-+ HRA as applicable.

5. Experimental and analytical studies on creep and fracture of ultra high strength cement concrete at different scales.

6. Project Title: "Nano I Micro scale investigations for prediction of fracture and viscoelastic properties of sustainable UHSC (nUHSC"
