CSIR-Structural Engineering Research Centre, Chennai a National Laboratory under the aegis of Council of Scientific & Industrial Research engaged in Research & Development in the area of Structural Engineering, desires to engage talented candidates as

i. Project Assistant and Project Associates-I & II under the MLP Projects (i.e. MLP 206, MLP 207, MLP 209, MLP 212 & MLP 215) tenable at CSIR-SERC as per qualification, age, experience etc, detailed below, purely on temporary basis only, maximum for the duration of the Projects:

3. Qualification: 3 Years Diploma in Engineering / Technology [Civil I Electrical Engg.) or its equivalent

4. Job Description:

Familiarity in using CAD tools (like AUTOCAD), MS Office etc. Familiarity in electrical electronic measurements. and Candidate should be capable to carry out experimental set up of steel structural components and instrumentation of Strain gauges, LVDTs etc. Knowledge in Data processing.

5. Salary: Rs. 20,000/- + HRA
