Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess the following qualifications for the Junior Research Fellow post:
- Option 1: Post-graduation (M.Sc/M.Tech) in Life Sciences from a recognized university with a 4-year/5-year Bachelor's degree and 2 years Master's degree.
- Option 2: Master degree in Life/Basic Science with a 3-year Bachelor's degree and 2 years Master's degree, having qualified any one National level examination (DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISER, etc.).
- Specialization Required: Plant Molecular Biology / Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Microbiology / Botany.
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 30 Years for Men; 35 Years for Women.
- Age Relaxation: Age limit is relaxable for SC, ST & OBC candidates as per Govt. of India norms.
