Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess the following qualifications for the Junior Research Fellow post:

• Option 1: Post-graduation (M.Sc/M.Tech) in Life Sciences from a recognized university with a 4-year/5-year Bachelor's degree and 2 years Master's degree.
• Option 2: Master degree in Life/Basic Science with a 3-year Bachelor's degree and 2 years Master's degree, having qualified any one National level examination (DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISER, etc.).
• Specialization Required: Plant Molecular Biology / Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Microbiology / Botany.

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 30 Years for Men; 35 Years for Women.
• Age Relaxation: Age limit is relaxable for SC, ST & OBC candidates as per Govt. of India norms.

Selection Process

The selection for the Junior Research Fellow post will be based on the following stages:

1. Written Test: Candidates will first appear for a written test.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates from the written test will be called for an interview on the same day.

Note: The final selection is based on the combined performance in the Written Test and Interview.
